Due to their handmade craftsmanship, it is impossible for any two pieces to look exactly alike. Each piece will have its own unique features, flaws, and beauty- just like the wearer.
Made through a lengthy process called electroforming, every piece spends days submerged in a special tank by which copper is essentially "grown" on the object.
Once removed, each piece is polished and sealed with Protecta-clear metal sealant. This sealant helps to provide water resistance, retard tarnish, and preserve each piece for years to come.
Though water resistant, if submerged in water for long periods of time, the sealant could wear off. Therefore, it is advised not to swim, shower, or turn back into a mermaid while wearing your copper electroformed piece. However, getting caught in the rain, splashed by a bus featuring your picture while wearing a tutu on a Manhattan sidewalk, or crying while wearing the pendant should be fine.
This pendant is great for both adults, and children, but suggested for children over 10 years old, due to the small, delicate crystals.
